Part Time Working Experience

Promoter

I did the Part Time Promoter Jobs during the school holiday. What I did before was I demonstrate and provide information on promoted products. The product that i had been promoted was Milo, Knorr chicken stock, Kleenex products such as facial tissue,bathroom tissue,diapers and more in the company name of PA Dynamic Sdn Bhd. Besides that, i also did Anmum, Arnott shape and Kit Kat in the company name of Epromode Sdn Bhd. Moreover, i did Tiger Radler in the company name of Unicom Event Marketing Sdn Bhd. The objective to promote the products is used to create a positive image and lead consumers to use it. Thus, what did i done to promote the products? I distributed product samples so that the customers can try our products as well as done some lucky draw so that the customer will come back to purchase our products. I also set up booths or promotional stands and stock products as well as cooked for the customer so that they can try our products. This is due to the reason can source new sales opportunities along with let the customer to remember our products . Besides that, I can identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements through these survey. Thus, I must have strong listening, communication, presentation and social skills so that I able to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities.

Event Assistant

I did the Part Time Event Assistant jobs during the school holiday too. The event that i done was Colour of Spring which held by the property- EcoWorld. Eco World Development Group Berhad is a public listed Malaysian company involved mainly in property development.The reason they held this event is used to promote their property as well as attract the attention of people from all walks of life to purchase their property. This event's name is Colour of Spring .The people from all walks of life can come and experience the full blossom of spring’s colourful, floral beauty at Eco Spring and participate in a plethora of exciting activities, workshops and programmes with the loved ones every weekend. There were different activities on Every weekend, Spring Flowers-ushered over 50 stalls of "Merit" Niche Market Life included creative Hand-made, fashion items, various snacks and drinks, games district and more. There was also the kite making workshops, Flowers Packaging Design workshops and mouthwatering Japanese cuisine.So, what is my duties? Basically, I assist for the registration counter and when the guest upon arrival i will explain them about the map and our event activities as well as distribute the voucher to every guest. Furthermore, I helped for the workshop for example bento making. I helped to prepare the bento before the event start and I assist when the bento making's teacher when the event start. Through joining this event I learned a lot if experience including communication skills and problem solving skills. This is due to the reason that I have to talk to clients, listening to their needs and presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements. Customer service and interpersonal skills are required. For the problem-solving skills I learned to solve the issue quickly. This is because something will go wrong at an event inevitably. Besides that, i also responsible for art and craft session during i worked in Ecoworld. This art and craft session is an activity provided by the organizer used to cultivate the involvement of parents to do activity with their children. The activities that i responsible were Eiffel tower, Father's Day card, cookie icing and decorating, pisa pasta art, photo frame decorating, bean art, hat making, hot air balloon making and more. Through joining this session, i learned about engagement between parents and children.

Presenter

I was a presenter for the brand of Eversoft which is a facial products. I went to different secondary schools to educate the teenagers about how to take care of their face in a proper way. We also provide them free sample for them to use and given them voucher so that they can purchase our products if they really interested. The purpose go to secondary schools to give the talk is because they just step into adolescence so our mission is used to educate them as well as promote our products. With the experience i joined as a presenter, i have more confident about public speaking as well as i learned about team dynamics which how to work in a team.
